I was born in Caracas, Venezuela on August 19th, 1996. My parents were avid music fans, their taste mostly comprised of the things that crossed their ears in their early high school and college years: 70's rock, 80’s stadium rock, heavy metal and 90’s grunge. It was never their intention to turn me into a musician, but I grew up surrounded with so much rock n’ roll that I guess it was sort of inevitable. At age 11, approximately four years after my family’s arrival to America, I became obsessed with Guitar Hero 3, the newest one at the time, and the appearance of Slash in the game. It was at this time that my undying love for rock music would begin to bloom. I had asked for Guitar Hero 3 that Christmas, but my parents got me a real electric guitar instead. That was something I will forever thank them for. After eight years of guitar playing experience and two years of learning music theory, I feel as though it’s time for me to pass on my skills to students willing to learn, and maybe go beyond.
